I, Rustam Ismail, have been involved in an application process in Berlin for 27 years (1998–2025), and I report serious violations of my rights and significant health-related problems arising from my interactions with state institutions over 22 years (1998–2019). I particularly criticize what I describe as unjust practices by authorities such as the Immigration Office (Ausländerbehörde) and the Social Welfare Office (Sozialamt), as well as ongoing delays and obstruction in my access to necessary medical care and social assistance. I state that I suffer from more than 20 chronic conditions, including chronic prostatitis; 15 years of hidden chronic sinusitis (“meningitis”) (2000–2015); 3 years of hidden HIV (2003–2006); and 21 years of hidden tuberculosis (1998–2019); as well as Kaposi sarcoma associated with a cancerous tumor, diagnosed by computed tomography on 20 August 2019, which I state was ignored by 5–6 hospitals and remained untreated until 2025. These conditions have severely affected my quality of life. I also describe communication and treatment errors involving several hospitals and physicians, and I maintain that misdiagnoses and incomplete treatments caused me further harm. I further allege that long-term psychological terror was orchestrated against me by German politicians whom I hold responsible, and that, as a result, I was caused to become psychologically unstable. My overarching aim is to obtain support from national and international institutions and to seek justice.
