German Press - 7-8 January 2004 This folder contains two newspaper articles from the German press, Der Spiegel and taz, concerning my attempted self-immolation in front of the German Federal Parliament (Bundestag) in Berlin on 7 January 2004. The incident occurred on 7 January 2004 and was reported in the German press on 8 January 2004. This incident received widespread media coverage, not only in these newspapers but also throughout the German press and in international media. However, as of today, I have been able to locate and recover only two newspaper articles from my archive documenting this incident.
