Press Reports and Photographs in Azerbaijani, Turkish, Russian and Engish This folder contains newspaper articles, press reports and photographs published in Azerbaijani, Turkish and Russian concerning events in my life, my requests for legal protection and my protests. The materials particularly cover my protests outside the German Parliament and, later, the European Court of Human Rights, during which I attempted to set myself on fire. I have described these protests as a response to the prolonged suffering, torture and violations of my rights that I reported, the rejection of my complaints and my inability to obtain effective protection. The newspaper pages and photographs from the locations of these events are presented as historical archive materials showing how the events were reported at the time and which of my appeals and protests were brought to public attention.
